Tied to a device in your hand
We’ve had a few people asking about the setup for our presentation on Saturday, particularly how we were controlling the presentation.
We were both using Android phones bluetooth synced to our laptops both running the Presenter app. We’ve generally found this route much better than a dedicated handheld clicker, firstly because it only costs a couple of quid, secondly because it works...

Technology Playspace this Sunday
On Sunday the 27th November 2011 we will be hosting the Fargo Hack Play Space, an informal exhibition and sharing of new work from our residency at Fargo Space.
We love watching people play with the Don’t Touch Screen at Warwick Arts Centre; that little moment of joy people feel as they realise they are in control of the piece, no matter the technology. We were keen to try and create...

LR007 - Fargo Hackspace
When you’re working in the creative sphere, it is often the case the you will spend months working on something before you are ever allowed to talk about it properly. Without the right funding, that idea might never happen. By the time it comes together you are ready to explode. So many plans to share.
This is one of those moments.
We’ve been working for the last few months on...

LR005 Day 1
Our two week summer residency at Aldermoor Farm Primary School in Coventry has begun today. As ever, we’re not entirely sure what we will have made together by the end of these two weeks, but hopefully it will take shape here.

Over the weekend of Friday 17th - Sunday 19th December 2010 we conducted the second of our Window Works Research and Development labs.
One of the best discoveries was the potential for the Window as a music making interface. In these videos we are playing with different Reaktor instruments, using Processing to send a OSC signal from Community Core Vision.
