Join with us as we explore everyday electronics and the possibilities that they hold. Each group of participants will take apart an electronic gadget/toy and learn the necessary new skills to enable its repurpose. The modified gadget will be taken home as a souvenir.

To enable as broad an audience as possible we have offered the workshop on a pay what you can model. Please bear in mind that when purchasing your ticket, the components and electronics costs per participant are at least £3.

This workshop will be taking place on a Saturday or Sunday morning at 10AM. The workshop will last roughly 2 hours. Please choose your ticket date carefully when purchasing. As it is November we would recommend wearing warm clothes however do not wear any garments which may be restrictive.

The workshop does require the use of soldering irons and for this reason we will only accept participants aged 16 years or over. We are willing to accept participants aged 11-16 provided they are accompanied by an adult and therefore 2 tickets are required. No previous soldering experience is necessary and all tools will be provided for you - you may of course choose to bring your own soldering iron if you have experience of soldering electronic components but it is not essential.

We look forward to seeing you all
