The shelves in the workshop had become a little bare and with some ideas brewing for new circuit bending projects I sent a few texts out asking if anyone had any old AV gear to donate.
As ever, Andy ‘Beard’ Rodger (@35mmdop) came up trumps with the donation of three out of service U-Matic SP decks, 2 portables and a huge studio recorder.
The bulk of the machines are no use to us, but it gave us a whole bunch of control pots, rocker switches and BNC / jack / XLR /RCA ports as well as a nice pile of 4-pin push-buttons and some uber-cool analogue level monitors. Best get building!
